Heavy Pulp

December 28th, 2006 by dru

So I’ve got a thing for good old fashioned pulp art. I love those old school cover illustrations filled with suspense, action, and drama but I’ve noticed lately a new style of pulp art out there in the form of heavy, computer-assisted, collage. It looks vintage but screams computer made. For practice, I decieded to try to make a collage in under 4 hours using whatever I could find through google images. Here’s the result, which turned out more like a crappy 1970’s spy movie poster than a 1940’s pulp cover. I’ll go back and add more nazis fighting snakes later.

Anyways, i just want to thank you for stopping by the site again. I hope 2007 is a fantastic year for each and everyone of you. Peace.

“I’ll go back and add more nazis fighting snakes later.”

How about Nazi’s riding dinosaurs, now that would be scary!

What you said was actually very reasonable. But, what about this?

what if you were to create a killer post title? I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your blog,
but suppose you added a title to maybe grab people’s attention? I mean Colorriot
    | Andrew J. Ault is a little boring. You might peek at Yahoo’s home page
and note how they create article titles to get viewers to click.
You might try adding a video or a picture or two to get readers interested about what you’ve got
to say. Just my opinion, it would bring your blog a little livelier.

He left behind the prayer rug so that anyone clever enough would see the pattern and escape.
They are very inexpensive and can be found at your local department
or hardware store. These companies may present specialized talent and gear needed
