Comfest 09?

I designed an entry for this year’s Comfest theme. The contest is on March 4th so I should find out sometime soon if I’m going to see this on some beer mugs. Wish me luck! Also, I know the site looks a little plain jane right now but give me some time to fix it up. I want it to look nice for you.

Heck no. I went to Goodale park to submit my design and there were 69 entries. Everyone voted on them town hall style. I made it past the second round of voting and then was beat out by stuff like this:
If this is what Columbus feels best represents itself then that’s a shame. This is probably the last time I’ll enter this contest. Midwestern aesthetics at its best.

Cary, did you make one too? I have no idea what you look like so maybe you were there, maybe not. I thought the whole voting process was laughable. I should have printed mine on a plotter.

No - I didn’t do one, I stopped doing this thing for the very reason stated in your post. But seriously, you crammed all their mandatories into a beautiful package.
Too bad, they don’t know good design.
